WHAT, WHEN & WHERE?

After a 2 year hiatus the Public Health Collaboration (PHC) will be hosting two conferences from Thursday 19th to Sunday 22nd May, 2022 in Bristol. Both conferences welcome everyone from healthcare professionals to members of the public in order to work together for better public health.

The first being an International Food Addiction (IFA) conference on Thursday 19th and Friday 20th, which is being held at the Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel. Run by Dr Jen Unwin, this conference will have a professional meet up on the Thursday starting at 2pm and then a full day conference on the Friday from 8am. The full day conference includes a real food lunch and will have food addiction talks from Dr Jen Unwin, Bitten Jonsson RN and Dr Paul Earley from the American Society of Addiction Medicine to name but a few. There is also an optional evening dinner on the Friday, which you can book into below.

The second conference is the Public Health Collaboration’s Annual Conference on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd at the University of Bristol’s, Social Sciences Complex. Registration starts at 8am and talks begin at 9am plus both days include a real food lunch. Speakers include Nina Teicholz, Dr Aseem Malhotra, Bitten Jonsson RN, Dr Paul Earley and Dr David Unwin. There is also an optional 3 course sit-down evening dinner on the Saturday, which will be held at the Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel with speakers.

Please note, accommodation is not included in the price of tickets but there are plenty of different options available from hotels to bed and breakfasts in the surrounding area of the venues. Click here to look at a handy map.
