When 1 bite is too many and 1000 is not enough
Food Addiction Resources (FAR) is part of the UK charity the Public Health Collaboration. We provide a wealth of evidence-based learning resources, guidance and support to help individuals understand and overcome food addiction.
I used to be in a constant cycle of losing and gaining weight, I was always hungry. Once I understood and accepted that I was addicted to sugar and carbs, I was able to regain control of my eating and get rid of cravings. I now focus on eating real food and enjoy other aspects of my life.

OUR CHALLENGE
“Just for this week, I won’t drink sugary drinks!”
It can be really surprising how much sugar we drink – a small glass of apple juice contains 9 teaspoons of sugar! Just for this week, can you commit to having no fruit juice, fizzy drinks or sugary alcohol such as cider? You will reduce your overall sugar consumption and your body and brain will thank you.
