When One Bite is too many and 1000 is not enough

Food Addiction Resources  is part of the UK charity the Public Health Collaboration and aims to help you feel free from body and food obsession.

I used to be in a constant cycle of losing and gaining weight, I was always hungry. Once I understood and accepted that I was addicted to sugar and carbs, I was able to regain control of my eating and get rid of cravings. I now focus on eating real food and enjoy other aspects of my life.

OUR CHALLENGE

“Just for this week, i won’t drink sugary drinks!”

It can be really surprising how much sugar we drink – a small glass of apple juice contains 9 teaspoons of sugar! Just for this week, can you commit to having no fruit juice, fizzy drinks or sugary alcohol such as cider? You will reduce your overall sugar consumption and your body and brain will thank you..

Testimonials

FAR gave me light when all I could see was dark in the awful hole I found myself in of the never ending cycle of food addiction. They gave me empathy, hope and the support I needed to help formulate a way through with both mental and physical health being the optimal goal – its early days but already I have a huge change in my attitude towards food.
