Can the food you eat affect your joint health? EBM suggests it can. An expert patient with psoriatic arthritis will tell you his story and I will show you the evidence and show how it saved my previous practice £9k in drug costs alone.

7.20pm - Expert Patient
An expert diabetic patient shows us the effects of different meals on his blood glucose with continuous blood glucose monitoring and how his blood glucose is mostly a flat line within the normal range. He even can tell you how the NICE guidance changed in December 2015 to low GI for T2DM and carb counting for T1DM and about how we can contribute to the EBM.

David does this and saved £40,000+ on his latest diabetes drug bill, and his NHS practice have the best outcomes and the lowest spend in his area.

8.00pm - Dr Malcolm Kendrick - Author of the Great Cholesterol Con & Doctoring Data, www.drmalcolmkendrick.org

We are not promoting deep fried mars bars, doughnuts or pizza, but Dr Kendrick will show us the evidence that healthy fats in the diet do not adversely affect our risk of heart disease.
